American tent producer Shelter Systems has developed the Grip-Clip system, which offers a new way of connecting tent sheeting to tent poles.

The Grip-Clips are plastic elements that connect to tent poles. The sheeting is attached to the element by pulling a plastic ring over both parts. This method has the advantage of not needing to sew channels for the tent poles. Thus, production costs and times are reduced. Additionally, the avoidance of tiny holes of stitching, supports the isolation and strength qualities of the fabric.
